Sylvia presents a cheque for £1,000 to Billy McCrory of Shine A Light, childrens cancer charity. The money was raised by the sale of the C.D. Love Tears and Laughter...Songs of Ulster and the Ulster Scots. We would like to thank all those who supported us. Special thanks is due to Jackie, The Ulster Historical Shop,Shankill Road and Drum Sounds,Sandy Row. We thank also the family and friends who helped out in the sale and promotion of the C.D. This is to announce the launch of a new C.D. dedicated to the people of Ulster and their forefathers the Ulster-Scots who left for the 'New World' in the eigthteenth century.
I have tried to bring the story of these people in song to those who may have an interest, and indeed those who may have just a passing interest. The loyal songs of Ulster are well covered by many excellent artists. I wanted to try something different and bring the history of our people and country to a wider audience. Those who may never have heard or read the story of our people will hear their story in music and song.
I dedicate it to Ulster,its people and its friends and supporters thoughout the world. God bless you all.
